We are thrilled to announce our co-chairs, Nick Spinale and Robbie VanVossen, for the seL4 summit 2025. The next seL4 summit will be held in Europe in Sep/Oct 2025 (location and dates TBC). Nick Spinale is an independent computer security researcher and consultant based in Portland, Oregon. He is involved in many aspects of the seL4 open source ecosystem, including maintaining the Rust language support for seL4 userspace. Before forming Colias Group, he was a part of Arm Research in Cambridge, UK, where he led projects related to virtualization and confidential computing. Robbie VanVossen is a senior systems engineer and the seL4 Technical Lead at DornerWorks. He has been developing embedded virtualization systems and researching embedded security for over a decade. He has been working specifically with seL4 for 10 years and has been heavily involved with improving the ecosystem, especially with user-space hypervisors and support for 64-bit processors. He has a love of the open-source model and is always looking for ways to give back to the open-source community. We look forward to welcoming the community at the seL summit 2025!
