The only thing I can think of at the moment, is that your current build directory isn't clean. Doing: mkdir seL4-tutorials cd seL4-tutorials repo init -u https://github.com/SEL4PROJ/sel4-tutorials-manifest.git repo sync mkdir threads cd threads ../init --plat=p99 --tut threads --solution works as expected, giving (eventual) output: Tutorials created in subdirectory "threads".
